Kachema Meat Suppliers is a meat processing and supply company in Zambia and has been a loyal client of ours for over 5 years now.
Despite their retail growth over the years, we noticed a gap in market awareness regarding the brand’s product availability through its various distribution channels.
To remedy this, our team developed a strategy to close this gap through an awareness campaign titled “Closer to Home.” This campaign was designed to bring the brand closer to the people through emotional marketing, but also allowed us to market the products in a more relatable way.
We achieved this objective primarily by introducing billboards in key locations to improve brand visibility and by introducing QR codes in retail outlets where customers could share feedback about their customer experience.
In addition to this, we also brought the product closer to our Facebook community through various competitions run during the campaign. Winners got to taste a wide range of Kachema’s products, including new products they had never tried before.
We supported our social media marketing with short videos to highlight brand values and company processes showing how Kachema maintains its high quality products.
Overall, the campaign improved the brand’s customer traffic in our retail outlets, resulting in more than a 50% increase in revenue for the company.
